Derk wasn’t paying attention, just imagining himself as a sage

The peril is that the ranger doesn’t seem to be wearing any pants.

I like this page. A lot. I got pretty much free range to interpret Victor’s description of the dangerous journey into pictures, and I had fun with it. Enjoy!
Also, there are trams in Idenau. You already knew there were phones and switchboards and at least one copy machine, so don’t act too surprised.
Oh man, that evil, laughing, snowball-throwing snowman boss is in those mountains isn’t he… and is that a pirate ranger?
I absolutely love this art shift! Wonderful! Art Shift is now going on the trope page.
this is just cool…there I said it,cus it is
It’s official, this is the best comic I have ever read!!!! I will come back ever time a new one comes out!!!!
Aww, thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy it.
also in pannel 7 derk is just sad he took the hat
AHHH!! But… that anachronistic!!! You can’t do that, it doesn’t make sense!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey now, don’t hate, don’t discriminate. Just because it’s a fantasy world doesn’t mean they can’t have somewhat modern technology. There was totally a fridge in comic 15 too. It’s like a fantasy version of the early 90s, which is pretty cool in my opinion. (…Before cell phones and the internet and such because that takes so much of the suspense and danger and confusion out of life.) I also draw the line at Idenau having TVs but I bet they’d have awesome cartoons if they did.
me: a wild mage appeared!
skarva: little girl, use ice rage
mage: *resists* im immune to spells
Too funny! Couldn’t stop laughing at this one! (Then again, they all make me laugh!) I really like the shift in art. How did you do it?
Thanks! Well, I picked a Photoshop brush that was fairly solid but also a bit messy-looking, and after a rough sketch I simply drew it all in. When I brought the pictures down to a smaller size to fit in the panels, it was a bit harder to see what was going on, so I used the “poster edges” filter which made the darks darker, and things more clear in general. Then on a new layer above, I used a brush which creates a textured, grainy effect, to make what looks like snow or perhaps just the general fogginess of it being an imagined experience.
lol hey, u have much much more fans now! might have more
Oh yeah, I remember the days when like, only you and Hanged Man and maybe someone else would comment on each comic. Or maybe only you. Hopefully things will just get better and better. Thanks for sticking with us!
I love how Skarva is just whistling over the bridge of …treachery … (Oh, I just got the pun *facepalm*)while Lorelei is falling. Ha! How treacherous!
