Fun fact: Broken pots are the largest source of waste in Idenau

The hardwood flooring is in the penthouse boss room. The minions would have scuffed it all up, anyways.
Oh, how I love all these dungeon cliches. But, trust me, there’s more to our story here than that. Stick with us for all the fun! You don’t want to miss out! And, I encourage you guys to use the comment form down there to leave us little messages. Nothing feels better than knowing there’s people out there reading our stuff.
Altermentality:
Looking back at this, I feel like I could draw a lot of things better, were I to do it now. And I only made it a couple weeks ago, so that’s a great sign! Nothing pressures you to both try new things and consolidate your style like a comic…
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that a breakable pot recycling program is a great idea.
The Temple of Terror received a LEED Gold Certification for its earth-friendly design.
Doesn’t he know better than to stay away from the bottom of wells? I hope he has some anti-undead weapons.
The little demon things are cool, but I liked them better in the first comic before they had stick limbs.
Wait, didn’t they always? *checks first comic* Whoa, I think he has a legitimate leg there. But definitely stick arms. Clearly I did not know what I was doing yet. …You’ll get that a lot in these early comics. Like these borders, dear Gods. A third of the comic is borders. YEESH
sliding doors say ‘whoosh’ all the time
I’ve always wondered – what exactly is occurring the in the last three panels? I just can’t figure out what’s supposed to be happening…:(
Well you see, in those panels, what’s happening is I fail at drawing comics
No, ok, the door is supposed to be hard to open, so Skärva is stepping up to examine it for any clues, but he ends up accidentally stepping on the hidden button in the floor that opens it anyway. The puzzles in the ToT are pretty much entirely inspired by me and Victor playing A Link to the Past together. There were a lot of buttons in floors. Sometimes they were hidden under a pot or something but sometimes they were just *there.*
Ooooooh, I see. Huh. Well, it seems almost as if the panels should be switched around – the first one makes it looks like it’s already open and then the second one makes it look like it’s closed. What I thought was happening was that a trap went off and the door almost crushed him…meaning that the guy nearly killed Lord Skarva…PLUS his trap failed! So double fail,
…but I guess your way makes more sense, lol
How did you make the different types of font on this page? Did you draw them all? Did you draw the words for the glowing light sign too?
Oh gosh, haha! I could never be that consistent. Every (main) character in the comic has their own font, which I’ve found on the internet (and made sure they were free to use). The letters on the sign are a font too.
I used to actually handwrite Derk’s speech, just because I had a weirdly specific idea of how I wanted his to look, but I eventually used a site to turn the way I wrote his letters into an actual font. It’s much more manageable that way.
