Yessss, Steamboat Derk!
Also, loving this plot twist. I was wondering when we’d get to see Cyril again!
I don’t think Lorelei is buying it…
She knows him too well. Not to mention his upper eyebrows give him away to the well-practiced observer. Curse those things! He has no control over them at all.
…His steamboat has a shark fin.
He has a sharkboat. This is basically the best thing ever.
The Third had that installed. He really embraced the shark thing.
Derk reminds me of

Did you do that on purpose?
Yes.
This is going to be interesting.
I love the references in this comic so, so much.
I really like Skarva’s thought bubble.
So does he!
Did Skarva have braces when he was a kid? What do shark braces look like?
… Lorelei is not fooled.
(And never trust a villain who wants to rewards anyone “as they deserve”. Villains seem to judge what someone wants a little harshly… :P)
I rather like the style of thought bubble that you used. ^_^
I do have one artistic criticism, if I may: the water. At the moment it looks somewhat… viscous, to me. The main surface looks a little dull – either reflections or bright highlights might help – and the spray from the wheel is perhaps composed of globs that are a bit big – it looks to me a little like the boat is churning through jelly.
Bleh, I’m tired. Villains seem to judge what people deserve a little harshly, not what “someone wants”… >_<
Yeah, I see what you mean. I was messing around with a globby brush, I guess it wasn’t the best choice. I’ll keep that in mind; thanks!
If you want to something done right, you have to do it yourself.
