No punchline. Only despair.

Surprise off-day comic! (I hope someone actually sees it today.) Because I finished early. There will probably still be one Friday too! (Not 100% guaranteed)
My papers are coming along. Almost done. It’s still blowing my mind that there’s no “back to school” for me anymore. I was just lamenting earlier how my Christmas break will be cut short, and then I realized, there’s no END to Christmas break. Until I find a job, which is what I want anyway.
I see it! It’s a nice comic too, well nice as in nicely done, the tone is a little sad. It’s gotta hurt when you work so hard at keeping up a place that constantly crumbles then your boss who you haven’t seen in forever tells you that you’re not even doing good at it. Well technically he’s not doing good at keeping people out but it’s still a sad day for the zombie butler.
Yeah, and Posti doesn’t exactly have the highest self esteem to begin with.
When Skarva wants to go, He wants to go /immediately./
Indeed. And he’s wanted to go since he got here.
Wait, they’re just leaving the zombie boss (Zomboss?) there? Still tied up? That’s a bit rude
It’s Skärva. Rude is what he aims for. In fact, he’d be disappointed that it’s only “a bit.”
Now he’s dead on the inside AND on the outside…
…
…
I’d laugh at that joke if the comic wasn’t so sad…
Haha! That’s pretty good.
…But you’re a terrible person
Aaw, poor Posthumous. (Although I’ll confess to a suspicion that we’ll see him again…)
Good luck for your papers, and enjoy the break thereafter! ^_^
We’ve certainly written in the possibility, haven’t we?
Thanks!
Skärva’s face. “Lorelei no recruiting people without permission.”
Will Posty, too, go through the dreaded 5-hour interview?!
I have a feeling he wouldn’t mind it as much!
Posti in the last panel… ;n;
This is what happens when I’m left totally in charge of comic layout and stuff, you get ALL THE FORLORNNESS
That last panel spells many possibilities… That is, if Skärva will allow some of the possibilities to happen.
Imagine the Posti-bilities! *shot*
He’ll have a hard time saying no if Lorelei’s around. But imagine she’s not, and Posti just shows up at the castle and Skärva slams the door in his face. “How do you like a taste of your own medicine, death breath?!” Except Posthumous can’t blast the doors open so he just walks back to the manor sadly.
Obviously, Davis will be there as the door-knocker. So Posty will have to deal with Ecta, Floyd, and Davis instead. XD
Where’d Slice go? Is he talking to statues again? D:
I meant Slice, instead of the second Davis…
But yes, he is probably talking to statues and suits of armor again.
DOUBLE DAVIS
It’s like hard mode for Ecta’s existence
It just occurred to me that monocle on while running around in a full suit of armor. Those are some mad skillz.
Like a boss. Really.
did u get mah fan art? xD
Oh, yeah. Sorry, I’ve had a lot of things on my mind lately. ^_^; It was special.
it must be very hard being undead, and cursed to live the rest of your unlife in a place where you aren’t appreciated.
Well, you see, he’s not actually forced to be there… he’s just settled into the comforts of familiarity. Even if it kinda sucks.
Please change your mind.
We can hope!
Urgh… okay, I don’t say this very often. There are not many people I have encountered that are able to make rotting undead folk look adorable.
You are DEFINITELY one of them, though.
Don’t talk about Gerrig like that, he’ll get a big head
Panel 5, was Lorelei healing Posthumous or is it just an aura?
Speaking of which, if healing is sped up natural regeneration, does that mean that zombies do heal over time instead of rotting?
Nah that’s me just doing my random colors thing
Zombies can heal themselves, but only to the extent of putting themselves back together when unusual strain tears them apart. Overall they are still rotting, albeit in such a slow process that they seem to be stable – but they certainly aren’t getting any more alive. Lorelei or other healing magic users couldn’t do anything for a zombie.
Maybe she was healing him a little bit in spirit, though!
