Sorry this one is late. Holiday traveling, and… stuff happens. Nevertheless, I like this one a lot writing-wise. I hope you like it drawing-wise, too!
That AAHHH joke made me laugh! Most jokes (from anywhere) just make me smile.
I’m glad! That’s how I am, so I judge something as hilarious if it actually makes me laugh out loud. Victor caught me off guard with that one, too.
The third panel and last panel crack me up so much.
Thanks
Don’t worry about it. If things get in the way, things get in the way. Fans can be patient.
Yay, the screams are back! Oh dear… who told her? Or is this rather a case of “whisper down the lane”? Someone happened to hear a bit of the conversation, told someone else, who told someone else who… ect.
I know, I know, and you guys are awesome. But it’s for that reason that I always feel bad to keep you waiting!
I could wait years and regularly check in for an update with little to no problem on my part. I’ve done it before with several other comics as well as fanfiction and other sources of entertainment. Things people make and publish onto the net are often done for their own sake. They can start at any time, they can stop at any time. Pressuring people to continue or for changes just makes the creators uncomfortable, which is very rude and inappropriate behavior. While understandable regarding creators whom you must purchase the entertainment from, doing the same for people who do it essentially pro bono is tactless. As this is a public site, money is not being demanded outside of donations.
You don’t have to feel bad. This is something you should enjoy making. If events intervene or something else presses for time, you have to choose. This is completely understandable. The comic can always be put on hold. Real life problems or events often times can’t. But I do understand your sentiment.
You are so polite! Of course, I love making the comic and I’m as eager to share the next page with you guys as people are to read it, if not more so. But yeah, sometimes I just need to crash, or other things get in the way. I just feel particularly bad after this one being late since there are less comics per week now, anyway.
That librarian’s glasses makes it look like she’s always angry.
I have librarian glasses too
Why are you always angry?
“DON’T LOOK ECTA WE’RE COVERED IN BEDSHEETS”
Also, all of my lols for quiet terror.
( Captcha says: ancient lacedequ . Must be an artifact.)
“D-don’t look at me without my bowtie, woman!”
according to captcha this comis is worth $82,700. hmmmmm *grabs my wallet*
That will get you a LOT of cameos, my friend.
It would also keep this comic funded for quite a while. Too bad i don’t have it Dx
Quite a while. QUITE.
That last panel is probably my favourite in this page; Floyd and Davis’s faces and Slice’s untroubled “ok!” rather make it, I feel. ^_^
Clearly, Ecta has heard of other people’s privacy, and doesn’t hold with it.
Something that I think that I just noticed: Are Derk’s arms particularly long? Looking back, I find myself uncertain of whether he has rather long arms or just rather short legs…
Between that and his eyes, I have a new suspicion regarding his nature that might also explain his predilection for magic…
You’ve definitely caught on to something.
He’s got no nose also! I CAN CONTRIBUTE!
Ah blast, and here I thought I was being original with this theory though. T_T Was practically writing up an essay on the subject, but then realized that since I’d been out of the loop for awhile, maybe someone else cottoned on first, so I should check. My fault for not reading the comic I guess. LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL! *ominous music*
Of course Slice is the only one who doesn’t freak out when Ecta bursts in, not only is he an extreme optimist, HE DOESN’T WEAR CLOTHES! XD
