Skärva really hit the blank. He sure doesn’t shoot blanks — he slashes them! Now Blank really is expressionless. You could say his headspace has become whitespace. But then, the gods didn’t choose him for his looks, did they? And he does have a tendency to lose his head. Of course, in an actual fight, Skärva’s straw man tactics are unlikely to work.
You know what? In battle, Skärva’s clearly a hack–um, if my criticism isn’t too cutting. Perhaps his style is a little wooden; or perhaps this wooden thing is his style. (It wood be, wooden’t it.) He is fighting the very “model” of his frustrations.
Maybe the dummy-head is payment for Smithy? A Blank cheque?
Cutting a cheque, eh? Yet Smithy seems to be drawing a blank. Certainly this wasn’t the kind of capital gain he was thinking of when he took Skärva’s offer of a deal. Instead of a 10% cut, he’s only getting the cuttings! Though I have to agree with the Third — ten percent really would have been to much, any way you slice it. And in the end, all of Smithy’s labors might be pointless; because really, no matter how good the sword, is it going to gain Skärva an edge on Blank (or in, as it were)? He’s getting a-head off himself — crossing swords with Blank may yet leave him feeling sore. And speaking of heads, the shark’s-head crossguard is a nice touch, though one suspects it might have made Skärva cross, his own being the result of a curse. Or was Smithy heedless of this?
I imagine that it’s well-known–perhaps Smithy likes “biting” humour. Or at least “biting-the-hand” humour. Something a bit edgy, either way. Even if it hurts, he’ll tell the tooth. (Of course, with Skärva, the one being hurt might be Smithy. ;))
In any case, that guard isn’t exactly easy to miss (maybe Smithy should have been more “guarded”?)–you don’t need a “shark” eye to spot it. (Was that one “fishing” a bit? ;))
OF COURSE HE DID. He will make fun of Blank’s nose (and his missing tooth) at any opportunity. Not like he should make fun of other people’s faces, but he’ll take what he can get.
Oh, sorry!! Links get caught by the spam filter since we have a lot of sketchy bots that come by. But thank you so much!! I love it!! I’ll be sure to put it on the fanart page today.
I guess the dummy was just too…
…not Blank enough…? How do puns even work…

This is an obvious target(-dummy) for puns!
Will Smithy find this to be the last straw?

Okay, okay, I’m “fin”.
For now…
This comment thread reminds me of how I wanted to create the Comment Hall of Fame…
Something about this acting on and attacking dummies seems really underhanded.
Are you joining in on the Blank puns with this blank comment?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I have determined what you did there.
At least he got the Pinocchio nose right~

Seeing as my original comment up and disappeared…

I’m glad you like it!
I’m not sure what’s funnier– this page, or the blurb on it
XD
And the comments. You guys make every page better.
Now he just needs to avoid any dump sites so that he doesn’t have to fight an enraged, magical dummy :B
Love the expressions you did on this page, they look so animated :>
Blank tends to turn the castle into a dump when he comes through…
Thanks!
