This Wednesday, instead of a Question Session, I’ll show you the Halloween/Havocfest costumes I’ve done for some of the characters! I’ve got a few already based off of my own likings, but if you have any ideas let me know – and you just might see them! I especially need ideas for the minions…

Well, maybe just a suit for Davis and maybe a different colored tropical shirt for Floyd? Slice could be a pirate! Ecta is a ghost, I don’t think costumes apply. Frozio in a doctor outfit and by doctor, I mean House. I can’t think of anything for Cyril. Posthumous in a maid outfit. I’m so sorry…
I think Floyd can get a little more creative than that
Ecta could possess clothes for the purposes of Havocfest I guess!
Shush, I already drew Posti in a maid outfit. Although I’m a better artist than I was a year ago. Hmm…
I know Floyd can do better than that. I was thinking that a different color or different shirt might just throw people off. I am bad at this.
I still think Frozio would make a good House. Why do I get the feeling that it has been done before, though? Bah, I can’t think straight.

That tapestry intrigues me. So, Pokeball for the God of Life, probably, then the Half-Moon gets Spring? If the flux capacitor is fall, then moon is winter, and there are only two more, and one of them is death. But then, none of the gods are seasons and I can’t actually remember what they were.
How the tree is going though, there’s only really room for Death and whatever comes after death. I’m betting Havoc, with the tree turning into some sort of demon.

What is that squiggle-circle thing in panel 2?
For a group costume of the non-main minions, maybe… Imperial soldiers? It stands to reason that if there was a great war, soldiers existed.
I believe the squiggle circle is Havoc’s symbol.
Actually it’s spring, summer, fall and winter. The respective gods aren’t necessarily the gods of those seasons, but they are associated with birth/creation, sustenance/stability, change/entropy and then death. There are two other gods who don’t fit into seasons as easily, so… sorry to them
Although I do like the demon tree. There’s a Pokemon like that now…
Squiggle-circle?
Hah, “One Sweeping Under the Rug Later.” That’s one of the many reasons why I love this comic so much. Question: Does the “empty god symbol” represent the “God of Death” we heard about in the Havocfest Question Session? Also, is there a “leader” among the gods or are they all equal statuswise?

Not really. They’re all important. Some people choose to worship one more than others as a personal calling.
Wait, are the gods we’ve heard of so far’s respective symbols:
Havoc: Circle with the three thunderbolt looking things radiating out from the center.
Norma: Circle with a line across the middle, with a half-circle in the center of the line (Pokéball circle.)
Medi: Circle with a straight line down the center.
Lax: Circle with two lines across the middle.
The God of Death: Empty circle.
The God we haven’t heard of yet: Circle with six straight lines radiating out from the center.
Good guesses! But they’re all wrong
Except for Havoc. And the empty one.
The one that everyone thinks is a Pokéball is actually supposed to represent the horizon with a sunrise. But a Pokéball is cool too.
VICTORRRRR can’t I just talk about the gods yet? Well, I guess it’s more fun to drop these really gradual hints and have you guys try to reconstruct Idenian religion…

She’d probably possess a demon statue and pretend to be Davis. They’re probably pretty cheap to get after the Temple of Terror’s bankruptcy.

To be fair, screaming “GUARDS!!” isn’t all that cautious… I guess he wasn’t really thinking at the moment…

There is no silliness here. He is deadly serious.
Okay, one more shot….
Is Medi the sunrise one? Or the Six Lined one, maybe?
And do each of the gods have elements or aspects that they control, besides the obvious?
Uh… You’ll get it eventually by process of elimination
Hm. Elements… not so much, if you’re talking about earth/wind/water/etc. More like attributes, or traits, that uphold the fabric of reality. Although certain elements are often associated with various gods, it’s not necessarily a cut-and-dry separation. Like fire is a symbol of Havoc, but that’s because it’s chaotic, hard to control and dangerous. It’s not “Havoc is the god of fire!” but “Havoc is the god of chaos.”
On a side note, this makes me want to make an “alignment chart” for the characters…
Skarva IV: Lawful evil
Davis: Chaotic evil
Ecta: Lawful neutral? (because while she’s on the side of evil, her loyalty is paramount and she doesn’t really do anything for her own selfish sake)
Floyd: True neutral
Lorelei: Chaotic neutral
Blank: Lawful good
I want to say Derk is a lawful good too. It gets tricky, what side someone’s on versus how they actually act.
