Nop, but good try. It’s more specific than a general concept. Also, Skärva is the one doing the shushing. Did you misinterpret the text in the last panel? Don’t forget to go by the fonts, otherwise sometimes it can get confusing… I do the best I can to arrange it nicely.
He did kinda burn Skärva, at least.
(If I may suggest, a speech bubble tail for the last of Skärva’s bubbles would probably reduce such confusion, and I don’t -think- that it would likely upset the visual balance or effect of the page.)
I have no idea about the reference. I think it may be something to do with the Haunted and Normal Forests, but like I said, I wouldn’t know.
I’m not sure if I’m misreading, but is the thing they’re going to go after called a Lil’ Flower, or is it supposed to be Lily and for some reason you’re missing the y?

Yep! Pronounced like “lie” (see what we did there) but the letters L-I-I actually stand for something, too… which is not actually the game reference, but something more literate. I’ll not give away our trade secrets right now though.

Nah, I didn’t think the two were related, at first I was only going to guess which panel the reference was in, then remembered that favorite video games meme you posted on dA and tried to guess the game as well, hoping one or the other would be right. Yea, I really have no idea what you’re getting at in the comic…

I was gonna guess Stop n Swop, but my other guess would have been Haunted Forest being a reference to Haunted Woods in Diddy Kong Racing.

Skärva IS a word, thank you. In Swedish. It means “shard,” and we chose it because it has meaning. I’d like for you to find me a language in which stoppjng is a word.
